The Live TV app provides an interface to allow guests to playback traditional linear channels. Video playback is built on the VLC kit, this provides a versatile playback engine that supports almost all common video and audio codecs.
Requirements and Considerations

Currently, the App is provided “as is” and does not have any capacity for customization.
When the App is run it identifies itself to the ROOMNET CMS via UDID, adding this information is part of our standard setup process.
Considerations
It is recommended the app is placed on the top menu bar in the Apple TV main menu, in the left-most position. This allows the user to find Live TV easily and creates the best user experience.
